Our Story

History

The Roman Catholic Church named for St. Joseph—the husband of Mary, mother of Jesus—is one of the most distinctive modernist buildings in Falmouth. Situated across the street from the ocean, its north entrance opens towards the water, with a front door of Italian copper.

Mission Fundraiser

St. Joseph Church was designed with eight gabled roofs in a circular pattern. It was long thought that the design could be enhanced by stained glass windows under each roof depicting various scenes and symbols of our Catholic faith.
