What we beleive

Our Vision

We the people of St. Joseph Church are a Eucharistic Community of faith and action. We are empowered by our identity as the body of Christ to carry out the mission of Jesus Christ. Called to be light in the darkness of a broken society and salt in the lives of people seeking wholeness, we are shepherded by our Pastor, who leads people from all walks of life, in building the Kingdom of God in our parish.

Our Mission

· We the members of St. Joseph Church in the Diocese of Montego Bay, seek to deepen our personal union with Jesus Christ and to grow as a faith-based community.

We seek to enrich our heritage of care and concern for all, especially those in need by being instruments of God’s love and healing to the world. Guided by the Holy Spirit we pledge ourselves to pursue this mission by participation in the liturgical, educational and social ministries of the church.

We realize that to be effective, these ministries require spiritual, physical and financial resources, and we accept our responsibilities as Christian stewards to provide the same.
