Brief info
Fr. James Kandole Saturday, was born and raised in Buheesi, in the outskirts of Fort Portal, the Tourism City of Uganda, East Africa. His primary and secondary education took place in Uganda where he attended Buheesi Primary School, Buheesi Odage School, Nyansozi Primary School and Kaboyo Senior Secondary School. Fr. James has a BA in Philosophy from St. Philip’s Seminary, Toronto, Canada and an MA in Theology, from the Franciscan University of Steubenville, Ohio, USA. He became a Religious Brother in 2003 and moved to Jamaica in 2006.
Fr. James transitioned to the Diocese of Montego Bay in 2015. He was ordained Deacon, June 25, 2016 and his Priestly Ordination was February 4, 2017. Father became an Associate Rector of Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, Montego Bay in September 2017 and Pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church Falmouth in December 2018. Fr. James also is the Vicar of Vocations for the Diocese of Montego Bay.
